Although Fortnite has been completely removed from the App Store and Google Play Store for several hours now , there is still a way for players to download the game.
Apple made the decision to remove Fortnite from its App Store following a decision taken by Epic Games which aimed to bypass the 30% tax applied by the famous brand. Soon after, Google joined in and in turn removed the Battle Royale from its PlayStore.
However, Fortnite is still downloadable on iOS and Android through different methods that you can find below.
How to download Fortnite on Android
In order to get Fortnite on Android, there are two different ways. The first is to go to this web page of the Epic Games site.
- Then scan the QR code using an app which will then ask you to download the Epic Games app.
- Once the Epic Games app has been downloaded to your Android phone, all you have to do is open it and select Fortnite to start the download.
The other method which is similar is to download the installer file manually in APK format.
- For this you will need to initially allow your device to install apps from unknown sources. To do this, open your phone's Settings and head to Apps, then Notifications and finally Advanced Settings.
- Then enter the Specific application access menu, then the Install unknown apps menu. Locate the web browser installed on your smartphone with which you intend to install the APK, enter in the details and activate the option Allow this source.
- You can now proceed to download the APK from your browser and thus install it.
